Silence, still.

14 Jan

In the name of Allah, the Incomparable, Irresistible. The One who Suffices for all. And salutations and peace to our guide and teacher till the end of times, His servant and messenger Muhammad pbuh.

Thus are the confessions of this heart –seeking to seek.

The shadow has stopped dancing.

In the silence it resists,

Yet a conjecture of patterns still,

Illuminates the darkness within.

With embers – unfriendly,

Threatening to ignite

In the storm that heaves

So ferociously

in struggle and might

and she observes,

in fear,

with weary eyes,

a heavy heart.

Conflicts she refuses to address,

And in numbness she succumbs to docility,

Yet she observes still,

In the silence she knew so well.

She seeks the gleam beyond the threshold she faces.

Where once stood the handsome figure of,

What she thought was,

Now no longer.

Peace & Blessings be upon you.

Sometimes our eyes, ears and hearts can lie. But place your steps in the pavements He has carved especially for you, and you’ll find the gleam your heart has been seeking, not for others, but for yourself.

And maybe despite the silence on her end, there’s also silence from his end, where he observes…

p.s. the actual movie of the music & lyrics is nice too. It just feels as if I grew up with Simba.

    Peace & Blessings sister~

The heart can lie too! As in…we might feel like this Gucci bag really suits me and my hearts says “Yes yes yes”, but really that’s what Satan only wants us to feel. Similarly to how we feel towards a person.

The desires that cloud our heart can persuade it to lie no? That’s why “From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-” “(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-” >:)

And Allah knows our heart more than we do right?

    Yes…i really love disney songs 🙂 ~Something There~

Peace & Blessings from Him 🙂

heart of nafs? 😉 the heart never lies, and if the soul is polished you can find it in earnest seeking for the Beloved – because that is its fitrah. the nafs, however, exists in 3 states, 2 of which will be inclined – or semi-inclined – to doing evil and fulfilling superficial desires. 🙂 i hope that clears things a little. Lord have mercy ❤
